Man these projects are addicting. I don’t go to the extreme of restoration. Just get it running and decent cosmetics.

So on to the ‘86. Got it for $325. Missing cylinder and silencer. Pretty rough shape . But those gold rims hooked me. Actually, when I was 16 we went to the Honda dealer because it was time to move up from my xr100 and I wanted a cr125. I remember the salesman telling my mom it was probably too fast of a bike for me. Recommended a kdx 200. Ended up getting an IT200 but damn I was so close to the CR. So here is my chance 34 yrs later.

Godspeed, she's pretty rugged, you got your work cut out! I'd scoop it for that price, too though.

Coming together. Painted frame. Redid forks. New crank bearings and seals. Have to do swingarm bearings next.
