1985 350 three wheeler

I hope I don't get banned for posting this, but I just picked up this 1985 350 three wheeler. They don't show up Craig's list very often and it seemed like a really good deal, so I pulled the trigger. It was a two hour drive each way to pick it up, and started on the second kick.

I'll end up repainting the tank, sanding down and torching the exhaust and sanding and polishing the plastic. I want to race it at the Lake Elsinore Grand Prix, but man will I be going slow. I couldn't imagine riding a 250 two stroke three wheeler. Other than that it will make a good cruiser for around our property. I hope my wife can kick start it. It has one little crack on the rear frame.

Very cool! Those frame cracks are typical.

I restored an 86 R over 10 years ago and raced it a couple months ago for my 40th birthday in the Flat River Grand Prix. It was a brutal 2+ hours, but I got 2nd place and didn't blow anything up (or wreck). Good luck on the build!

Haha I forgot that I started this thread. So far I have painted the tank, got a new seat cover, and put numbers on it. I want to get the clutch and stator covers coated and some new exhaust. I have some bee progressive fork springs and nee seals for it too.

And also, I won the Lake Elsinore Grand Prix three wheeler four stroke class
