So I got a little ahead of myself and didn't take any pics before I started so this is where I am as of now with my build.

Motor is being rebuilt right now with a hi comp piston. The ecu is in route to Tokyo mods for reflash still trying to figure out if I want to continue to run vpr or switch to t4.
Improbably hard to see in the pics but I taped off the frame and got a bed liner spray and sprayed in place of where the grip tape would go since I can wear through tape in 2 laps and hate the feeling of frame guards, so i figured it's worth a shot if it holds up decent. Calipers and master are going to my riding partner who owns a coating company to get cerakote (debating to go with gold like everyone does or something different).

Just dropped off some parts to nolan_stromberg at finish first coatings. Check out his 2015 yz 125 round 2 build, guy is the best in the biz when it comes to making your bike look fresh and 1 off.

Pulling all covers off to send to Nolan Stromberg @ finish first coatings. Thinking of doing a charcoal black with a hinson clutch cover.

I'm running T4 in my 250f with a Hi Comp piston and very happy with the performance and cost of T4.

Ya I was thinking if going with t4 but I decided to go with vpr I like the fact that it's leaded. I ran vpr mixed 50/50 all last season and my motor builder said everything looked excellent internally.

Correct me if i am wrong but VP recomends T4 in modern fourstrokes. I am not sure which ones cheaper but you are also fine running premium pump gas, because they are designed specifically for that fuel. The 1-3% horsepower could easily gained by a hi-comp piston.

I've never tried vpr, but u4.4 has always served me well.

He may not want to spend $30 a gallon for the juice.

Ya I have used u4.4 in the past and it was good fuel a little more expensive then vpr. I choose vpr because of the lead, which t4 does not have I believe the oxygen content is nearly the same between the 2. Tokyo mods said thatit did not matter which of the 2 I use. I should be able to start building the bike around x-mass, it's looking like all my parts will be coated and ready to in another week.

Air craft remover the brush on kind. I stripped mine. Came out brand new. Powder coat is durable but not to harsh chemicals like that. It will bubble and use a scrapper. Then pressure wash to take the rest off. Continue to apply until its all off.

If the powder was applied properly, there will be an abrasive profile on it when you remove the powder coat. I have an industrial paint stripper bath that I use to strplip powder coat before I blast and prep for new coating

This works too. It's time consuming and extremely messy, but effective.

Cases and covers are on and motor in the bike. I know it looks bad with the clutch cover right now but there will be a black hinson cover on soon.

Pipe sticker? I think it looks clean without the stickers. Thinking of getting a full carbon rocket can and mating it up to the FMF mega bomb.
