It's looking really good man. You should start your own thread so we can follow. I always love seeing the last gen of RMs being built.

Well after a about a year and a lot of money later the bike is almost complete. I ended up doing almost a completely new clutch starting with the basket, hub, plates, fibers, and heavy duty springs. I have a few more things to touch up but the Lectron carb seems to be spot on, I couldn’t be more excited to wrap my first build up!Woohoo

It was done by a company called pacific crest pipe repair, it was just a stock pipe that they blasted and then gave it the cone look.

Well right as I thought I was finished I made a big decision to just go ahead and rebuild the entire engine, after redoing the clutch I just thought that was the best thing to do. As soon as I started tearing the engine a part I knew I made the right decision, lose bolts everywhere! I was told by the seller that it simply needed a top end and that was end, gotta love Craigslist! I will be having the crank in the bike rebuilt with a proX rod kit, have the tranny done in the Rem process, cases vaporhoned, and all the case bearings replaced.

Bike looks sweet man, I’ve been checking out this forum since I’m building my 04 and looking for ideas. Btw where did you get those wheels and how much did they run you?

And does anyone have any prior knowledge or know someone who has done the cut side plates, I’d really like to do that but I like some firsthand info first.

I’m building an 05 right now and had an extra set of sideplates to hack on so I gave it a shot. As an avid RM fan I was on the fence about trying this because I think it turns out kinda poor a lot of the time. Here’s how mine ended up.

I ordered the wheels from a guy on instagram by the name of MXrevival. They ran me $925 but i upgraded to the yellow excels instead of doing the Smpro rims to match the smpro hubs, it woulda been cheaper if I stuck with them.

Yes they did, the pipe itself looks awesome but the amount of time it took to get it back was kinda crazy.

Yeah I was in the same boat. They had a mix up and my pipe went to the other side of the country and back. When I finally got it back I was pleasantly suprised to see the end result. They do nice work.

I’m pretty sure those graphics were done by the same guy who did mine. He can angle the numbers so you can cut the plates.

Who made your graphics, and does anyone else know any companies that’ll actually show an rm125/250 and what it would look like with a selected graphic on it, most all websites show an rm kit on and rmz :/

The company is “Aliance of One”, out of Georgia. He typically operates on eBay but I can get you his cell #. He’s very affordable, and the graphics are thicker than most of the big names. He’s a great guy, and does phenomenal work.

Yeah that’s the same guy I found on ebay it’s only $160 for everything you can put a decal on with name and number lol. I’ll give him a call soon and hopefully work something out in case I want to do the cut side plates

Make sure you tell him that you have RMZ front fender, front plate, and side plates cut for restyled look. He’s great to work with.

Does anybody know any brands other than kouba that make a lowering link for an 04 because me being capped out at 5’8 I’d like that extra cornering control

The bike pictured is an Eric Gorr 155, 2005 rm 125 conversion. My next and last step is wheels and hubs.

That definetly isn’t my last step but id like wheels soon my current stock ones are kinda beat but they are true which is good, I’m thinking of getting some gold excel or prowheels and spokes and lacing them to the stock hub
