05 yz 125 Gas tank

I have an 125 yz and i got this tank off ebay etc I was told the 04 and 05 ... 450f woukd work so I got it for cheap.. Now what? It is an inch or less off from the original mount on frame.. Help please all i need is a tank to ride i have just rebuilt the engine again from bottom to 144 top end.. HELP BraA@aaaaaaP!

The part number for the 2005 OEM tank is 1C3-24110-90-00. It fits 2005-2019 two stroke only models. Unfortunately, the 450 has always been a completely different chassis than the two stroke models. Simply put, that tank will not fit. For future reference use this link to the OEM parts catalog to double check fitment before buying based on Ebay descriptions.
