Congrats, That's a great feeling after all the work. Nice knowing you have a fresh motor.

Thanks Ben! It definitely feels good, especially after a little over a month. I don’t know how guys can take 6 months or more for a build. It would drive me crazy! Lol

Well, I finally got to take her out yesterday! This thing is awesome! It’s a lot different than my 450 was, but way more fun. It worked me pretty good and the track was pretty darn choppy yesterday. Saturday night I actually ended up taking the 05 forks off of my 98 and throwing them on this bike because they were setup for me already. I’m glad I did. Motor was strong and the bike handled great. There were 6 of us in our group and 4 of the 6 were on yz250’s so that was pretty cool! I can’t wait to ride it again!

Bike turned out awesome ! Glad you got to ride it finally Cool Those forks were valved and sprung for my fat 210lb novice ass so some tweaking will probably be in order to get them close for you. Or you could gain 40-50 pounds... Laughing

Thanks Bill! Actually, believe it or not, they felt really soft just sitting on the bike so Saturday night I grabbed the 05 forks I had on my 98 and threw them on this bike because they were already set up for me and were quite a bit stiffer. I'm glad I did because I'm pretty sure I would have blown right through the other forks lol. The shock was just about perfect after a few clicker adjustments

She’s done!!! Until I can afford a pipe and vforce reeds any lol.

From my experience the Boyesen Rad Valve is a superior reed cage.

Thanks for the info. I figured I'd do some more research before finally making my mind up on which one I want to go with.

The Boyesen Rad Valve comes with a spacer. You can run the reed cage with or without the spacer. Spacer installed addresses low to mid. Spacer removed, pretty impressive top end gain.

Thanks! I would definitely like a little more low to mid if I were to do anything to it. I'll also be getting an FMF Factory Fatty and Shorty silencer at some point.

Not a big update or anything, but finally got a new set of sprockets and a chain.
