Memphis National Speedway is for sale. I say the entire moto community pools their money and we turn it into the first venue specifically built for SMX 😂😂

Last race?  What are all these riders gonna do with 3 months off?  Flying at the test track?  Or what will the Vital MX fans do?

This is so much better than the NFL Football playoffs where you get 1 game and 1 fumble and you’re done.

I think Jett is good for the sport and his brother too as easy going and not making it too much of a job feel.  Lots of riders say they are having fun but if you look at their training program during the week some of these guys are like MMA fighters.  Remember when Kenny went to A1 trying something new all business like with his GQ suit?  Jett actually has fun with stunts like his start device on the scoop and he makes it all look easy and fun at the race too.

The Jett wave could just be seen as another classic Jett thing to add to his fun resume instead of dissecting the seriousness or trivial implications it has on the series and sport.  He had his 1 wave so now he’s gonna have to back it up with some clever riding next time that may be letting someone by to study their lines but then he’s gonna be expected to try and pass back.  A win is a win and the question now is does it not matter if you get a 2nd and ride how you please as long as you are in position for the overall?  Supercross has heat races for gate position but 1 winner so that’s easy but I wonder if MX is a different strategy anyway since there are 2 races.  

This is “SuperMotocross” so maybe Jett just reminded us of the Motocross element where you win with an overall instead of having to go 1-1.  More points usually means higher standings.  They say everyone should race their best but what about team strategies?…plenty of same team riders let people by or obviously if they are not in the championship would we be upset if a pro brain like AC held up or wouldn’t let Kenny pass if he’s not going for a championship, technically is that not riding your best and breaking the rule too?

Everything that happened was true so and applaudable since I didn’t realize it was so close to Red Bud and the fans know a good race and performance.  Whether Jett waved Kenny by or not it was the Kenny show and his night to celebrate a lot with the fans abd his family.

Chase has had some crashes but i don’t know how most pros get around these crazy tracks without crashing at least a few times each race…they talk about how beat the place is at the end of the night.

I was also surprised to see Todd doing a Sal Masakela.  How about RV with the practice he looked comfortable and relaxed I wonder if they will give him a race or 2.  I don’t see him trackside though since a lot of others have that covered.  If i knew what symbiotic meant id agree but it’s a good aftershow with some laughs.

i am glad they stopped saying the riders are on a mission like they are religious and can’t they come up with anything other than a “yoyo effect?”  Kids these days aren’t into yoyo’s unless they are a yoyo.  There’s other laws of physics, sociology, or psychology.  RC is now a graduate teach me some new lingo. Maybe  ‘Tug of war among combatants’ is at least more valiant than a yoyo toy.  “It’s like Mario cart racing” would at least get you thinking and playing video games after.  “This place is Mx vs ATV unleashed Tonight” thanks a sponsor too.

It looked like Chicagoland was more of a fan experience as opposed to Charlotte as a race challenge but they got more thown off.  

I like the idea of 3 races if they can squeeze them in as opposed to just 2 that would be harder to win or lose with this a ‘triple crown’ and 3 chances with triple points idea in people’s heads.  Why wouldn’t Jett go for th win in LA Matt?

When Jett let Kenny by I was thinking the same as the broadcasters as a story of mechanical as an excuse but then it turned into a sportsmanship feel good story of Kenny having the baby, they turned on the audio to hear Kenny still congratulate Jett on the overall as even better nice guys comraderie but then with the crowd chanting i thought maybe it was a setup for conversation.  Now that i hear the rule i am disappointed as if the series got spoiled a little because if you let someone by that means you weren’t trying 100% to win and maybe makes it more of a exhibition than a ‘real’ race which it should still be thought of as.  As far as Jett in his head he doesn’t want anyone to think they beat him and he may have had to hang it out to still win which we know he didn’t have to.  I dont blame Jett for not taking a chance to crash to prove a point that is old school and could have got him hurt but if he pretended to race and got passed he should have to deal with that instead of ‘letting someone else win’ just because he is ahead of them.  Most people think Kenny would have given him a good race but not been dirty but Jett wasn’t sure what to do since in the past he went down trying to hold of people like Forkner and doesn’t want to get beat straight up if there is a confidence thing.  All was well in the end with the points idea they always talk about as the biggest strategy and they say the 450 isn’t doing stupid stuff like the 250 so I’d rather it be all smiles since we knew Sexton didn’t have it but will they risk more if they have to next week or just settle for less money if that’s what these rounds are about?  Hopefully not and it is a warm up for SX.

They used to have this 1 or 2 silly ‘world supercross title’ like going to canada but that didn’t seem like much racing or worthy if the title is ‘world’.  Kenny has sacrificed so much they don’t even mention anymore like his arm injuries and epstein virus and if he can beat Jett that’s not a pull over situation so i am glad the crowd gave him credit for it.  There’s a nice interview after he had his first kid and another video when he was appealing himself as still marketable worth seeing i think filmed in England and he’s happy living on the water and stuff.  I see what you are saying Jett can get misunderstood with his humor and relaxed ways when the other guys are so serious which may have pissed them off but Kenny knew better and took it lightly so it’s all good.  And coming from Germany isn’t easy to win people over since that country had tough times but he did what it took to learn the language and fit in because he wanted to be here even having tough times with his dad who i think was there at chicagoland as a bonus too.  

They should go back next year and build on the track cause the fans were happy.  I was’t that big of a fan on tv but it had good reception under the lights is exciting.  I saw in practice Chase had to pull off right away just not comfortable so it wasn’t fixed and he may have better luck on the new bike with more outdoors stuff.  Everyone wants more passing but at least it wasnt too sketchy just choppy. I like the tighter tracks so you can see more of what’s going on so that’s my one suggestion.  To end in LA gives people a lot to look forward to as the king of tracks for a finale and a home feel for sx/mx like in the past.

ps is haidan injured at all because he didn’t raise his trophy over his head?  Or is anyone sleep deprived like Kenny with the new baby or ML with the jet lag?

Lloyd ( or Harry) just did dumb and dumber maths, and 1 plus 1 equalled 2.5. If you are thinking he let KR by to avoid getting passed you are on mushrooms.

Better track than R1. Was way more passing than R1 with more lines if the riders where willing to look around. Overall after 2 rounds, SMX has exceeded my expectations so looking forward to next weekend.

 KR and CS would be my bet for a 1 -2 finish in either order.
