As we noted in part one of Pit Bits this week, the fork tubes we've seen some of KTM, Husky, and GasGas 450 riders on aren't actually production tubes but works tubes that are similar to stock but different. However, we noticed something else different with Sexton's setup in particular. Chase mentioned finding something new on the front end he was happy with... Michael Lindsay

There are small air valves on each fork legs of Sexton's machine, leading us to believe he's likely running some form of air-assist fork. If so, WP is using a small amount of air pressure in the outer tubes to give the fork a more progressive feel of sorts.  Michael Lindsay

We didn't see any other 450 class factory Austrian rider on that fork setup. Michael Lindsay

What was the black box on the front fender of the Red Bull KTMs this past weekend? It's their GPS antenna, packaged in the same way it is on the new Factory Edition bikes that the public can buy. It's all part of the new onboard data system built with LitPro. We're just beginning to test the system ourselves, so stay tuned for more. Michael Lindsay

KTM quietly switched from KITE to a new D.I.D. hub this off-season. According to one mechanic on the team, it heavily reminds them of the quality and build of the HRC works hubs. We're hoping to learn more soon and we hear more teams might be running this hub in 2025. Michael Lindsay

Not sure if we've seen so many riders stop to congratulate a rider on his win before. It seems like half the field stopped to give AP some praise after his big win. Octopi Media
