At this point, getting "Friesed" has become a meme. You can't script situational unawareness like this. Start off by landing off track in one lane, then cause a three-bike pileup in another lane while meandering around...

What’s weird is this is allowed to just keep happening.  Whenever Friese races this is the result.  Obviously it’s a pattern. WHY is he allowed to keep lining up in pro races?  WHY do teams keep picking him up?  How many ‘unfortunate’ incidents need to happen?  It’s crazy.

I have wondered the same. It must be close to the other teams black listing any event this clown is scheduled to be at. If he had done to Tomac what happened to Dean Wilson in Aus a couple of weeks ago, Star Racing would drop the lawyer hammer.

I am surprised that Dean was the only person who went on a “rant” about getting his shoulder dislocated with a labrum tear from getting taken out and how more riders don’t come forward to officially complain.  Eli’s parents could have said something but he’s a family man himself now not usually a fighter or fighting back.  Last year in the same Abu Dhabi Dean got taken out by Friese there too where they may see it as part of the show but this was practice.  In SX J-Bone is the patient advocate and I hear about a lot of people getting docked positions, suspended, or probation about lesser issues or less blatant accidents even if involved in a scuffle.  In the past some of Friese’s collisions looked incidental or debatable but this is clear negligence to cause injury I am surprised he didn’t hurt anyone by swinging his bike around sideways into oncoming traffic and pushing a tuff block with him to guarantee it would cause a blatant obstruction.  No one got injured so it is just dismissed as slapstick and in another country they don’t want negative attention about the rider behavior but what if that happened here?  The AMA makes a huge deal about just jumping on flags even if no one is in danger or gets injured or penalizes for off track confrontations.

I have to wonder, does Friese have any friends in the pits? I use 'friend' loosely too, not like best mates that hang out but even just other riders that even acknowledge him, talk to him in a professional manner, give him the time of day? Because I think many would think twice to even piss on him if he was on fire. 

All he had to do here was step off the high side of the bike, roll it backwards 3 feet and problem solved. It is like he wants to mess others days up because it makes him feel better. Insane. 

1
