Kyle Cunningham is one of the most recent graduates to the pro ranks after a fast-track jump almost directly from the B classes at Loretta Lynn's into the Boost Mobile Yamaha of Troy semi. But rather than the usual route of testing the waters in the Nationals, and getting some experience there before jumping into his rookie Supercross season, he's coming directly into Supercross after landing an offer from the YOT squad.

The speedy 17-year-old Texan has shown progress throughout the '07 season, with a 13th in the opening round, followed by his first top ten (a ninth) in Phoenix, and a consistent 12th when the series returned to Anaheim. Unfortunately, Kyle crashed hard during training this week and will miss at least this week's race in San Francisco, but we hear that he's already on the mend, and hope that he recovers quickly and completely.
