Vital MX Pit Bits: Seattle

Vital MX Pit Bits from the 2008 Seattle Supercross Click the following link for the latest news, along with a 30-photo gallery covering Saturday's pre-race action in the pits from the Seattle Supercross.

Rather than the mud that the riders are usually greeted with in Seattle, the track is actually rather dusty for this afternoon’s practice sessions. The day is sunny and cool, and the track conditions include lots of rocks…everything from marble size to small bowling balls. That should make conditions extremely interesting for tonight’s racing.

Before the night is over, we'll have answers to the final piece of the puzzle in the Lites West title chase between Ryan Dungey and Jason Lawrence. (Lawrence leads that one by six points, heading into tonight.) We'll also get a bit clearer picture on the Supercross championship title chase between Chad Reed and Kevin Windham, where Reed has a 13-point advantage.

Be sure to check back later for full race coverage from Seattle.
