Vital MX 13 Days of Christmas: Day 5, Easton 162

Easton has plenty of experience in manipulating aluminum, and crafting technologically advanced items like their super-oversized 1-3/8” handlebars and clamps. But what if you’re not ready to step up to something that exotic, and just need to replace the 1-1/8” stockers that came with your bike? Well, now Easton has that covered as well, with five different bends.

Constructed from Easton’s proprietary EA 50 alloy, it gave them the flex characteristics they were looking for in the smaller diameter material to match the larger diameter EXP bars. They also feature Taperwall technology, and flowing bends for maximum strength and durability.

With a 800mm width, and 200mm end length they’re just about perfect for everything from your bike to Santa’s sleigh and those pesky reindeer, while giving you plenty of room for grips, controls, and handguards.

Easton also has a cool molded bar/clamp pad, complete with in-molded logos, and a mylar cover.
