MSR’s NXT line got a big revamp for ’09, and with cool graphics like the foil TPRs on the leg, as well as their AVT (Advanced Ventilation Technology) for cooling airflow. The NXT jerseys ($49.95) have lightweight spun poly construction, as well as articulated arms and multiple air intakes to make it extremely comfortable. They’ve also got Lycra micro-cuffs, a stair-step collar design, and full-body back panel graphics.

Completing the gear, they’ve got the NXT gloves, with a palm-side Velcro wrist closure, Lycra finger slits for optimum flexibility, and a Clarino reinforced thumb panel. Those go for $36.95.

To cover your head (and to match nicely with the gear), MSR added one of their new Velocity helmets, which features a high-impact polycarbonate shell that meets SNELL M2005 and DOT standards. The Disorder graphics feature a high gloss UV coated finish, and the interior uses a color-matched Quick Snap liner for easy maintenance…and to allow you to clean it and keep your helmet smelling fresh. While riding, a variety of vents draw air through the helmet to keep your dome cool. Suggestest retail for the helmet is $139.95.

Housing it all? That’s the domain of the MSR Expedition gear bag, which is good for a day of riding, and goes for $89.95.
