In the Dog House...visiting with Tim at his Florida home.

One of the coolest surprises of the '07 Supercross season thus far has been the season Tim Ferry's having aboard his Monster Energy Kawasaki. Probably best known for his outdoor results (though he took the number one plate as the 1997 125cc Supercross East champion), he's having his best year to date indoors in the big-bore class. All of this follows a string of injuries while riding for Team Yamaha, and spending '06 riding Hondas with the Moto XXX squad. While at XXX he'd turned in some solid results, and caught the eye of Team Kawasaki's team manager, Mike Fisher. Now that Timmy's back on factory equipment, he's scored a trio of podium appearances and has a solid third place overall in the Supercross class standings, and has shown that hard work and persistence definitely pay off.
| Ah, we can all dream of having our personal track(s) in our backyard, but Tim Ferry has it. Currently, he's spending his days working on his Supercross track, but has an outdoor track as well. Of course, his garage is dream material as well, with its own washer/dryer for dirty gear, a fridge, and a collection of helmets from throughout his career. |
We visited with Tim this week at his Florida home, and to catch him in action on his private Supercross track. Surrounded by 40 acres of rolling terrain, it looks like a nearly perfect place to ride, train, and hang out with his family.
