The first 250 heat went to Austin Politelli after Shane McElrath crashed out of the lead, and Justin Hill and Josh Hansen tangled.

Heat two in the 250 class was another one that seemingly no one wanted to win, with Malcolm Stewart going down, and then Zach Osborne landing on his bike (which had cartwheeled into the next lane.) After that, Cooper Webb reeled in Matt Bisceglia for the win.

Justin Brayton powered to the win in the first 450 semi.

Jason Anderson and Blake Baggett had a pretty solid duel in the second 450 semi, which resulted in some contact...and Eli Tomac finishing in-between them.

With Killy Rusk taking the 450 LCQ win (ahead of Mitchell Oldenburg, who was on a 250), we were ready for the mains, and championship time.

Shane McElrath led the first two-thirds of the 250 main, but ended up second.

Malcolm Stewart overcame a mid-pack start to take third in the 250 main event.

Cole Seely put on a quick burst of speed to take the early lead from Andrew Short, and then sprinted to build a gap of 12 seconds at one point.

Eli Tomac was eighth early in the 450 main, but came through to grab third.

Ryan Dungey clinched the 450 title in Houston, but he had to work his way through the pack. He was tenth on lap one, and second at the finish.

Make that Cole Seely's first 450 win.
