Ryan Dungey (Red Bull KTM) was second in the first 450 moto, but quickly built an insurmountable lead in moto two. He said that they'd made a big suspension change during the week. It paid off.

Budds Creek was a bit of an off day for Ken Roczen. That meant only one moto win, and no loss in points. He banged the side of his knee in moto two, and said it took him a couple laps to recover.

Eli Tomac (GEICO Honda) went from sixth to fourth in moto one, and eleventh to third in moto two. If he scores some better starts, it wouldn't be shocking to see him grab a win this summer. James Stewart (Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing) has had a string of sub-par moto finishes. He looked to be turning things around in moto one, with a fifth-place finish, but and tangle with Trey Canard in moto two resulted in a DNF.

Blake Baggett (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) used a 3-1 tally to take another overall win. He put in his usual come-from-behind charge to take the second moto win.

Jeremy Martin (Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha) had a pair of second-place finishes in his motos, and took second overall.

Jason Anderson (Rockstar Energy Racing KTM) had a couple firsts at Budds Creek. He led his first laps in a National, and also scored his first moto win by taking the checkers in moto one.

Blake Baggett chipped a single point off of Jeremy Martin's series points lead. But he's fighting for every one he can get, all the way to Utah. But he's still got some work to do, as Jeremy Martin has a 27-point gap.
