James Stewart scored the Oakley bomb as the fastest 450 qualifier. Can he put the troubles of the last couple weeks behind him at Budds Creek? We'll see later today.

Ken Roczen missed a chunk of the second round after a rock stuck in the rear brake and had him fooled that it was a bike issue. Once the errant rock was removed, he headed back out onto the track.

Ryan Dungey grabbed the third quickest qualifying time.
