Coming into Jacksonville, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto had a 26-point lead on the rest of the Supercross class. After a crash and DNF in his heat race, he was forced to ride the LCQ, and as you can see, things didn’t work out too well for him or Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX’s Justin Brayton. After sitting out tonight’s main event (provisional starting spots went away about three years ago), his points lead is now down to seven over Chad Reed, and we’ve got six races left to go.
