The French fans have waited a long time for a visit from James Stewart, and they are clearly impressed by his Supercross skills, as he's ran off with the win in every race of the weekend so far. The L&M Yamaha rider, aboard a YZ450F, delivered another impressive night of racing at the Bercy Palais Omnisport right outside the ring of Paris, winning both of the main events and cleaning up in the match-race elimination competition. The former AMA Supercross #1 looked smooth and fast in every race, though he did finally see the back of a couple of jerseys that he was not lapping.

The first jersey he saw was the #33 of Joe Gibbs Racing MX Yamaha rider Josh Grant, who grabbed the holeshot in the first of two main events. Stewart was right behind the Yamaha rider for a lap before making a block pass in the big banked turn behind the finish line. No sooner did he go by than Grant went down in the whoops, knocking him out of that race.

MDK/KTM rider Justin Brayton, who's been riding strong throughout the weekend, took second again, and he would add another runner-up ride in the grand finale, again behind Stewart. The aforementioned Grant would reach third in that race.

Kevin Windham is finally starting to look like his old self, as he took third in the first main event, then made it to the match-race finales for a solo battle with Stewart. He would lead James for a lap there, but that was all. In the last race of the night, Windham slipped back to a disappointing sixth place.

Windham and the others get their last shots at Stewart this afternoon, as the third and final night of the 25th annual Paris-Bercy Supercross is about to get underway. Stay tuned to Vital MX for more later this afternoon.
