Inside Husqvarna's New U.S. Headquarters 5

After settling into their new headquarters, Husqvarna recently had an open house for dealers and media. We snuck in a little early to have them run us through their TC line of motocross machinery. Also, be sure to check out some of the awesome vintage Huskys that were on hand for the event.

If when you're stuck in traffic on the 91 heading from Corona to Riverside, you'll be able to pick out their new headquarters off the side of the freeway.

Guarding the front entrance was this fresh-from-a-crate Husqvarna Military-spec Automatic.

We liked the contrast between this 1966 360 Viking, and the modern model behind it.

Bright, modern, and freshly updated. We could be talking about the lobby, or their bikes. You pick.

This particular rarity was the product of Gustav Flink, a Swedish machinist who not only built some aftermarket performance products for Huskys, but also created this wildly unique aluminum monocoque frame.

You want more rarities? How about this prototype Husqvarna trials bike? Less than a handful were made.

Vintage Husky fans will recognize this one as a 1970 400 Cross. Right side shift, anyone?

More contrast. Husqvarna's really changed things up lately, under BMW's ownership.

Before two-strokes took over racing in the mid-60s, Husqvarna was racing and winning World Championship titles with equipment like this 500cc monster.
