First Look: Justin Brayton's New Honda Ride 8

Hey, check out who we ran into today, getting in his first ride on a Factory Honda 450. Justin Brayton's the most recent addition to the American Honda squad, and he's changing up a bunch of his program for 2012. That includes switching to One Industries garb after four years wearing Shift gear. The bike? It was full outdoor spec from the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship series, and still sporting 2011 livery. From the rumors we've heard, we suspect you'll see some new exposure for Muscle Milk in the 2012 graphics.

Yeah, a factory Honda ride is the dream for a whole bunch of riders out there, and watching Justin, you could tell he was pumped about the new bike and team Click the image above for a larger version.

JB's first day on the bike was pretty low-key. He was still sporting a Bell helmet (that contract runs through December, and will be sporting a One helmet after that), and since he's working on a new goggle deal for next year, he had several sets on hand from EKS, Oakley, and Dragon to try out.

Here's the big toolbox that he brought out for the day. Check out the sticker. Yep, that's a flashback to his MotoWorldRacing.com days. What else has he been up to? A bunch of mountain bike racing, and leaning out to trim weight. Lighter bike, lighter rider...look for him to be a formidable threat in 2012.

Check back later for more, in a video interview with Justin, right here on Vital MX.
