Vital MX's Take: This has to be one of the weirdest crashes we've seen in a while! Chase Sexton washes the front end and folds his wheel as he attempts a simple on-off with just a couple laps to go in Minneapolis. Sexton ultimately walked off but seemed very dazed from the incident. Check out the replay below.

The title is misleading. I’m in agreement with the 2 posters. The wheel appears to be the reason for the crash. I don’t believe it was his fault..

Throws away win? really total crap title guys. the front wheel implodes what else is going to happen? Look at the video slow it down and look at it in sequence. the wheel is fubared going INTO the corner. you think for one second with little time left he isn't capable of managing a race like this. Mechanical plain and simple just hope he is ok. When was the last time a wheel specially a front wheel did this? BUT it is clearly the reason he went down. I my opinion of course.

Misleading title. Sexton didn’t deliberately throw this away. He crashed accidentally, not on purpose. Not sure what the title is trying to imply.
