10 Things To Do on Supercross Finals Weekend 3

Whether you're in Vegas or not, here are a few extra suggestions on how to spend your weekend during the Supercross finals.


Friday, May 3rd

1. Pre-Race Press Conference


This one will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT, and fans can log on to http://www.SupercrossOnline.com/SupercrossLive to watch the live stream as the top three 450SX riders (Villopoto, Millsaps, and Dungey), and regional 250SX riders will break down this weekend’s race.

2. Score Autographs

From 7:30-8:30pm, get autographs from the Dodge Motorsports / Sycuan Casino / Hart & Huntington / Bel Ray Racing Team at the Hart and Huntington Tattoo Las Vegas in the Hard Rock Casino. It's at 4455 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV 89169. Expected guests include Ricky Carmichael, Carey Hart, Broc Tickle, and Josh Hill with special guests Mike Mason and Bobby Lee.

3. Endurocross

5. Supercross

Saturday will be a wide-open end to the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross season. Just remember that the usual practice and race schedule has been bumped up by a half-hour. The schedule's below.

6. Supercross Live

Supercross LIVE! will feature an extended three-hour and forty-five minute mid-raceday program from 1:15 – 5:00 p.m. local time directly from Las Vegas this weekend due to raceday schedule changes for final round. Hosts, Jim Holley, a former World Supercross Champion, and Kevin Barnett, a former member of the U.S. Men’s Olympic Volleyball Team and professional broadcaster, will provide in-depth analysis of the afternoon’s practice and qualifying sessions as the riders and teams prepare for the night's racing.

Sunday, May 6th

7. Watch the hour-long Supercross "Changing of the Guard" feature on CBS


It will broadcast at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT (check your local listings).

According to a PR we received, "The new era of Monster Energy Supercross has begun with the four riders – Ryan Villopoto, Davi Millsaps, Ryan Dungey and Justin Barcia – responsible for the Changing of the Guard. CBS will showcase how these athletes ascended to the top of the sport in 2013 and set the tone for a bright future in one of the world’s most captivating forms competiton."

8. MiniMoto SX

Need more action? How about the home of the loudest (and trickest) bikes around, the 2013 GEICO MiniMotoSX. Ashley Fiolek will be in action aboard a Team YCF mini, and there are eight adult classes and three youth classes as well as a Women’s class. New for 2013, electric bikes are eligible to compete in the appropriate classes based on wheel size and wheelbase. Race entry and event info can be found at www.minimotosx.com.
