The winners (James Stewart and Ryan Villopoto) were the same in each class at the seventh round of the 2008 AMA Toyota Motocross Championship at Budds Creek, but the cast behind them change a little bit. In MX1 it was Timmy Ferry, who reprised his come-from-behind ride at last year's MXoN with a 2-2 finish that gave him second overall behind his Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate. Andrew Short's 3-3 was good for third overall.

In the MX2 class, Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey returned to the podium, finishing in second overall, and he was followed by Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Brett Metcalfe. There were several other contenders this weekend, including Trey Canard (Geico Powersports Honda), Nico Izzi (Rockstar Makita Suzuki), and Martin Davalos (MDK KTM).

The points leads in each class is now over 100 points in each class, and we're now looking at the real possibility of Stewart and Villopoto being able to wrap up each class as early as Millville.
