Gearing for 250f

Hey everyone.

New member as of today! Anyway, my rmz250 is geared 12/51. I never ride on a track, just trails. The trails i usually ride on are pretty open, and i feel the bike is geared way too low (i hate having to be in such high rpms not even going that fast). I looked at a gearing calculator and 80 km/h in 5th gear for my bike is a little over 8000rpms. I'd like to be able to cruise on long, open parts of the trails i ride at about that speed not feeling like i'm hurting the bike. Keep in mind that half of the trails i ride are still sorta technical and have somewhat large hills to climb. My question is; what gearing do you think i could get away with, without compromising too much torque?
