Have you ridden the 2020 forks? What changed in the feel for 2021? I know they made changes to the midvalve and air piston.
Do you have a ktm selected on Rocky Mountain or a Japan bike? Maybe try searching on a different computer.
Rocky Mountain still has them. At least I think this is them. https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/tusk-racing-axle-block-p?s=1117210
I have noticed the same thing but I was already going up a size to fit a chest protector under the jersey. What kind of elbow pads are you using?
I just tried a cc on back to back with a 2020 formula carbon. They look almost identical but the fit on the cc is just slightly looser. I also tried on the new Alpinestars sm5 and it fit bad compared to the m8/m10. It was tight to put in and then loose ... more »
I just saw these retail for $230. Are they considered equivalent to the m08/m10? Looks like weight is very similar.
You need a better ktm dealer. https://www.westfieldyamaha.com/default.asp?page=xInventoryDetail&id=9136229&p=1&vc=off-road&s=Year&d=D&vt=motorcycle%20%2F%20scooter&fr=xAllInventory
Unit e1410 is the $100 version of the rabaconda.
The 125/150 will have to be revved a lot more than the 250. Which way do you want to ride? The 250 has about 10 more hp, but I would think the 150 will be close to a 2010 250f.
Check and see if the top liner piece is still adjustable like their current helmets. That adjustment can take the helmet from doesn’t fit worth a crap to perfect.
The LL stands for low lead. How does the lead content compare to leaded race gas? I don’t know.
Personal experience with a CRF250RX was that the Sunoco equivalent of VP T4 had better throttle response and the maps all felt the same which I thought was odd because I could tell some difference between them on pump gas (93 octane with up to 10% ethanol ... more »
I think AER are a lot longer than Xplor so you may need to push them farther up the triple clamps than your Xplor forks. Edited to add my AER forks felt a lot more plush after I switched from the Nekken bar to the Husky Protaper Evo bar with the softest ... more »
The sandbaggers are out in force at the local hare scrambles here. Guys in D class running lap times that would put them in the middle of D and C riders that would podium in B. I even heard one of the dads complaining because his son's friend moved series ... more »
A 250 smoker should have more grunt than a 250 four stroke. It is the hit that might be an issue for a new rider. Maybe the 250 xc tpi would be smoother than a carbed bike? The 300 xc doesn’t really have a hit but there is a lot of torque if you twist ... more »
2018 or newer used RMZ450. Used ones are cheap and there are a few out there with low hours. Has good low end power but not quite as crazy on top as a Honda or Yamaha. Also known for good steering and thin. It is not light but apparently you can shave ... more »
It is about $9 a gallon at the pump here for 110 leaded. 260 plus is about the same price pumped out of a 55g drum.
I ran 260GT plus in a CRF250RX and it cleaned up the throttle response but it made it almost impossible to tell the difference between the maps. It should run leaner than non ethanol fuel but not much worse than pump gas. 260GT has 10% ethanol and the ... more »
It is definitely not a 2 stroke. The dealer can fix it not wanting to start because it is too rich at cranking but it is still going to stall like a 4 stroke. Thumpertalk has a thread in the YZ250f forum about the starting issues. You cannot fix it with ... more »
I don't recommend the F16 Fly gear because it doesn't have leather on the inside of the knees. Kinetic does and if you buy closeout colors it is about the same price or cheaper. Kinetic Mesh is nice for the summer but it is not as durable as standard ... more »
