Try to be smooth. Stand up when you enter the corner and sit down in the rut. Try to keep your finger off the clutch and just navigate it through the rut with constant throttle. Don't be afraid to lean it over. If you don't you'll always pop out the ... more »

Reply to Honda CRF250 (2008) to buy or not? 1/23/2020 9:29 AM

I had a CRF250 2007 as my first dirtbike. They are ok but I would rather go for the fuel injected one which runs much better and cleaner. 2010 and newer is the new model. I also had a 2010 CRF250 and it was night and day compared to the 2007. Asking ... more »

He has the intensity in the vid. Just don't know if he can do it consistently during the whole main instead of just a couple sprint laps.

There are different hole patterns for different brands/hubs. The GEK-611 seems to be for Honda. Can't find GEK612N. Here are some part numbers: https://rkexcelamerica.com/products/excel-rims/a60/

Honda is getting closer and closer. Brabec still in the lead with 25 minutes on Quintanilla and 27 minutes on teammate Joan Barreda.

They're only halfway. Everything can still happen. Honda and Yamaha have been in the lead quite a few times the last years but every time it was still KTM who won. Honda is looking really good this year though. Benavides had some bad luck today but with ... more »

Yup, it's about time for Honda to take a dakar win. They've been putting so much effort into it. Joan Barreda isn't exceptionally fast thus far though. Maybe he finally realized that you don't always need to be on the limit.
