Honda is getting closer and closer. Brabec still in the lead with 25 minutes on Quintanilla and 27 minutes on teammate Joan Barreda.

Man, you see it can happen to everyone. Even the really experienced and skilled riders like Paulo. R.I.P. In other news, Toby Price lost about 1 hour and 20 minutes today and still has to cross the finish. So either there's a mistake with the live timing ... more »

I had something similar on my previous bike. It will be fine. They build in safety margin during design.

They're only halfway. Everything can still happen. Honda and Yamaha have been in the lead quite a few times the last years but every time it was still KTM who won. Honda is looking really good this year though. Benavides had some bad luck today but with ... more »

Yup, it's about time for Honda to take a dakar win. They've been putting so much effort into it. Joan Barreda isn't exceptionally fast thus far though. Maybe he finally realized that you don't always need to be on the limit.

Reply to Overheated bike running out the fuel. 12/27/2019 4:42 AM

There's no reason to drain the gas in the winter. Just leave some in and add some fresh fuel when you're gonna ride again. A 4 stroke doesn't like sitting at idle without air flow through the radiators. Gotta try to do that as little as possible. A few ... more »

I'd suggest a YZ250F. Hitting a corner with it in 3rd is no problem because it has enough low end and will still pull when you twist the throttle. It doesn't rev out like a ktm but it's still a lot better at high rpm than the zook. It's almost like a ... more »

Here in Holland that rule has been in place for at least 5 years. It's a matter of time before they are banned worldwide.

You can put cheek pads of the M in your size S helmet. They are 5mm thinner. You can take the nose piece off but obviously can't do anything about the chin bar. That's just the way the helmet was designed.
