I have worked the last 2 decades in the power industry and can tell you 1st hand that solar tech is not there yet, all the solar farms that have popped up in the last 10 years were feel good, gov grants to "Go Green". The compay I work for, bought a ... more »

I don't doubt for a minute that they are a blast to ride, but so was my neighbors ugly sister, that doesnt mean I want to do it everyday. I just think the quiet, sanitary aspect of them will kill mx racing.

I think the failure of Alta, the LiveWire and the lack of mainstream support for the other E bike upstarts is the writing on the wall. People don`t want a quiet race bike, it is not the same. Its a great idea for the environment, its a feel good for ... more »

I think E bikes will be the death knell of SX and MX. They are great for the environment, great for the noise reduction, but moto with no engine rev will be boring and unappealing AF.

Yeah, bicycles are a whole different story, some assholes will intentionally screw with cyclists, just cause they get aroused by guys in spandex and it freaks them out. Hell, maybe streetbikes too, if they are wearing assless leather chaps.....

I know a ton of people who ride both, variety is the spice of life. No different than racing MX than going on a trail ride, minus the dipshits in cars who run you off the road, (which has only happened once in my 35 years of riding.) With that being ... more »

I would say yes, too much for a novice, get a 125 2t if you are looking to get a smoker, much easier to learn on. If you have only been riding a few months a 250 will be a handful.

Added reply in a thread More Harley Davidson Trouble 10/18/2019 10:01 AM

Pulling production on a electric bike that is bigly overpriced and goes 100% against what Harley was founded on.....yeah, really shocking.....

You got any proof other than your opinion? Otherwise your info is no more valid than mine. Chad has plenty of resources that he doesnt need to borrow a mechanic from JGR IMO.
