Added reply in a thread TC125 or 150SX 2/27/2017 10:21 PM

It's a no brainer, get the 150. I have a plenty of time on 125's and own a 2011 150sx and there is only one somewhat significant difference, the 150 gets on and stays on the pipe easier. MXA often says the 125 has better top-end, but it's simply not ... more »

Finally a few people that understand where I'm coming from. I'm not suggesting Jim doesn't have a place in the sport or hasn't earned the right. He just doesn't belong in a commentating or interview type role unless he can do and succeed in what Emig ... more »

That's exactly right. To the few of us here who are being unbiased and objective, the whole program is amateur hour and reflects poorly on the sport. While RDL is side program for prime race broadcast, it still should be a high quality broadcast with ... more »

Not at all, I've been trying to accept his bumbling vernacular for years now. Every time I tune into RDL, I'm excited to watch the program only to be annoyed by his lack of skills and inability to bring anything valuable to the broadcast. Again, I can ... more »

The vital crowd is a loyal bunch to Gentleman Jim. I'm glad you can all tolerate his lack of ability better than me. Jim may have earned the opportunity and has the background and knowledge, but he certainly does not have the skills to keep the gig in ... more »

Most of you seem to agree he's a cool dude. I'll stand by my sentiment that he's not skilled enough to host Supercross Live and a more qualified replacement would go a long way to improving the broadcast and reflect better on the sport.

Jim Holley seems like a nice guy, but his lack having a even a mediocre broadcast voice or any broadcast skills is painful to listen to. He regularly pronounces riders names wrong and brings little insight to the program. Am I the only one that finds ... more »

Motovated has been hopping lately with nice sized crowds on the weekends and even during the week as the northern winter pilgrimage is well under way. The primary Motovated track is mostly sand and a good circuit for most any level. As for things to ... more »

Years of Daytona experience under my belt. My advice is to move around for the heat races and take in different sections of the track. But for the mains, get a seat on the lowest rows of the upper deck. It's by far the best area to get the best whole ... more »

And even when the broadcast works, the commentary is mostly worthless. Jim Holley seems like a nice enough guy, but his insight bring little value and his broadcasting skills are poor. Sorry Jim, but it's hard to watch.

There have been many theories on what actually caused Kenny’s crash. Did he make a mistake? Was there a kicker on the jump? Was there a problem with his setup? Was there a problem with the bike itself? Was it all of the above? I suspect Kenny himself

Gary, I've been breaking down the crash frame by frame and your analysis seems to be partially if not entirely on point. His back tire leaves the jump face for the last time about 2/3rd's up the face of the jump, well before the top of the face. Clearly ... more »

Interesting and good info Michael. You can imagine an engineer being skeptical after seeing the difference between how each bike was handling this particular kicker, but no doubt the setup could be a major contributing factor.
