Added reply in a thread YZ 125 GYTR kit? 12/16/2017 7:45 AM

125 SX/TC 2016/18 are 37HP (not 39/40) it's 3HP more than the YZ... The GYTR is made for serious racer, the reliability is not the same as the stock YZ, you'll have to change often the piston etc The best way to upgrade the YZ is to put a good pipe (HGS; ... more »

i use two cylinder gasket (athena top end gasket kit) on my 134 Rm, did you try 2 cylinder gasket? My jetting is also a lot richer (520 # over 370 # stock). I use stock wiseco piston, not modded one.

I remenber that the KTM 150 SX 2013/2015 was doing 39HP on motocross action , so yes 7 HP more on a 2017 with just cylinder head and cylinder porting seems only marketing values! If you want more than 2 HP gain on your motor, you need to work on every ... more »

Best pipes are supposed to be what they use in EMX 125 : - The GYTR - HGS (HGS silencers are the most common brand in EMX championship) - Damon's pipe/PPS - Doma racing Special pipe EVO (maxime renaux) - Scalvini Lot of artisanal cone pipe like DRP; ... more »

i guess that James is gonna ride the bike he had last year. can't imagine him riding a private bike with fmf and other brands parts! Top 8 for Malcom, and top 10 for james would be great... Later in the year, Malcom can grab a rch contract, i think.

I don't think that japanese still have an R&D for 2 stroke models, even Yamaha... If you want a new RM 85 or 125, you'll find it here : http://faceaway.eu/

As Jett talks of 125 in near future (2018), what bike he's gonna ride? Brian Hsu's bike or AF prototype? the funny thing is that Everts is showing his works 125 in a recent picture, does they do now realize that they need to bring the RM 125 back?

Frame is made for a big motor, it's true that they need to build a complete new one! Cylinder needs a bigger valve as the 2008 motor have weak bottom end and midrange... that's why i bored it to 134 cm3, and still have to find more top end! ... more »

I'm not an insider, but i can tell you how this kind of prototype handle... I have bought an RM 125 AF last year to a guy and i race it this year. To be honest it's a good bike, it handles like a four stroke, feels much more stable and predictable. But ... more »
