Reply to Carbureted, ten-year old engine leading? 7/27/2013 11:29 PM

People who like carbs better are just like the old guys who still think water cooled bikes are bad. Remember those ATK ads where they made fun of water cooled bikes? I'm guessing the majority of people who don't like fuel injection have never spent much ... more »

Not saying you're wrong, and I'm still a big fan of Coop and Chicken, but if we are talking 250 outdoors (450 today), those guys were never a big threat to win on any given weekend. Yes, fast as hell, and maybe a 3rd thru 6th place on any given day. ... more »

It's probably about the same I think, even going back to the mid eighties. The outdoors in the 90's? I'm not one to google it and find out, but from I remember in my faded memory is about what it is today. Late 90's RC, before that it was MC or Emig, ... more »

Listen up super vitards, track conditions change every year, every event, and every moto. I can't believe some of you even asked that question. Please leave the computer and go ride.

Alpinestars seems to have a pretty good selection of "old school" style hats that fit "old school". Prety basic looking, with an A-stars logo right in the middle. I don't wear em' myself, but we have a lot of customers who buy them for the exact reason ... more »

Flickitflat, sorry, your post was too big for me to read this late at night. But I do want to comment on your last paragraph about MAP pricing. Maybe you've been out of it awhile, or your not in this industry, but pretty much 95% of the companies do ... more »

Man, help me out! I use Parts Unlimited and Tucker Rocky both, that's our cost with 38% to 40% off! I know Marshalls has them, they can't even come close to that price. Just a wild guess with out checking my numbers, I might sell 250 to 350 Dunlops a ... more »

Bueller here... I know what you're saying about being competitive, as a shop we are, that's why we are here and will be in the future. I think you might have read my post out of context, or maybe I wrote it wrong. Either way, I'm just saying it's like ... more »

Just a quick thought to this comment.... Sometimes I feel like I'm not paying my guys enough, but realistically there's only room for myself and my right hand guy to make a good living (in my opinion), at least at my current financial situation. As a ... more »

Are you for or against online sales tax? I've owned my own retail business for almost ten years and I for one, support it. I admit, I haven't really done any in depth research on the matter, but from my side, I'm 100% for it. I'm sure some of the respones ... more »

I like RC in the booth, I also like Kevin. Give it about 2 more races and the same fools on here who love KW will be wanting to burn him at the stake.

What's up with all the haters for riders who don't win titles? There can only be one winner, it doesn't mean you didn't try hard, you weren't determined, you screwed around, ect if you didn't dominate. Don't live by the saying "2nd place is the first ... more »

The last 6 or 7 years would be "B", from about 93' to 03' it would have been "D" or "E" some years.

I think they both do a great job. They both have insight that about 99.9% of us don't, they know a lot of on track/off track stuff we don't, and they both have good personalities. Is there someone else you would like to see in the booth? Who?

Regis, it's good to see another racers point of view. I raced with you at quite a few supercrosses 98' and 99'. You always won the daytime qualifiers. You still ride?
