Yep, may have to up the spring rate but it will be night & day better than the original forks, and you get the upgraded front brake system as a bonus.

That’s a critical area, if it were a rare unavailable case you would no choice to weld & machine back to service. I say start looking for another case & if you can get the bearings to easily fall out with heat method reuse but if you have to ... more »

keep wet sanding with finer grades like, 800 to 1000, to 1500, use dish soap in the water. Sand in 1 direction, not circular, occasionally using a sanding block. It almost starts to shine on its own. An small orbital buffer with a fine compound, it will

A set of 96 CR250 clamps will allow you to bolt on any modern 47mm Honda Showa forks. You may have to swap your stem to the 96 clamps. I have a 96 CR250 that I bolted on a complete 2008 CRF450 front end to. Try to find a good condition complete front ... more »

They were changing exhaust port diameters on the cylinders, definitely look for an 89 pipe, not sure if a 90 will fit, believe 91-92 different.
