Very nice build! Where did you see the biggest gain with the porting and head work? Thinking about having JBone do some work to mine this winter. As for breaking the rear brake spring, Faast makes a return spring that mounts under the rear master cylinder ... more »

I keep going back and forth between 36mm and 38mm carb both off of KTM's and both work much better than the Mikuni. The 38mm pulls slightly better on the top end where as the 36mm carb is cleaner off the bottom. I think I am going to stick with the 36mm ... more »

I got fed up with the mikuni as I really couldn't get the jetting right on it. Ended up going the keihin route and I am much happier now. The bike pulls hard now and runs like 250 2 stroke should.

I am from Bozeman and purchased mine from Summit Motorsports and they didn't want to go any lower than $7650 on a TC 250 but were at $7550 on the 250sx. $7400 is a great deal on either though and you will be happy with either! The Summit guys are great ... more »

The biggest thing that I feel is better are the new AER48 fork which is one of the best stock forks I have ridden. I would say it is on par with the SSS fork when I had a YZ250. The other thing I notice is the almost nonexistent vibration that this bike ... more »

Not sure my jetting will help you much as I am near 5000' with a 17 TC 250. I am running 430 main, 32.5 pilot, 43-75 needle, and 2 turns out on the air screw. This is the best jetting I have come up with so far. It seems like the suggested jetting is ... more »

Ended up getting a 2017 TC 250 last week for what it sounds like was a great deal. Paid $7650 OTD and couldn't be happier with it. Put 3 hours on it so far and it is far better than my 2015 250sx was.

Not to get off topic, but how do you like the PC pipe and silencer?

Had mine break so I installed a Faast Co rear brake return spring which mounts under the rear master cylinder. Pretty inexpensive and nice upgrade over the stocker.

Awesome build. Are those Yosh axle blocks for a CRF450 and do they fit right into the Husky swing arm? I've seen a couple people do this mod and I am wondering what advantages are gained by running the Honda axle set up?

For some reason it looks like you may have your rear brake rotor on backwards to me. Was looking at some pictures of the Geico bikes with the Moto Stuff rotors and their rotors look like they were on the other way.
