Awesome! I like how the atlas straddles the spine as opposed to my 1st version leatt that would dig into the spine as you described.

Is that what you chimed in for?

Thanks for the input guys, still sounds like it might be worth trying one on before I bite the bullet.

Bump...anyone!?

Started new thread Atlas Brace with Airoh? 12/22/2015 7:15 AM

Ever since I got my airoh a few months back I haven't been able to wear my leatt as it's just too limiting. Anyone have experience with the atlas/airoh combo? Noticed that's what Anderson is wearing and thought I might give it a shot; the design looks ... more »

Added reply in a thread Airoh helmets - where to buy? 12/13/2015 5:03 PM

Man, that's a bummer! I thought mine fit pretty true to size. I couldn't find anywhere in the U.S. that had them in stock to begin with so finding a place to exchange it may be difficult.

Added reply in a thread I need to go on a riding escape... help me plan 12/11/2015 5:55 AM

Another vote from me. Just went last wk and had a great time. 2 full size tracks as well as a few turn tracks. Whether you're just riding or training too it's pretty reasonably priced and caters well to true amateurs. As others have said though, I wouldn't ... more »

Added reply in a thread Ruts and dragging rear brake 12/8/2015 4:13 AM

Anyone have any tips for breaking the habit of dragging the rear brake through the turn? I was at a camp last wk where I realized that's holding me back. I have no consistency between left/right turns because I'm tentative to get my right foot off the ... more »

Added reply in a thread Cornering Technique 2 stroke vs 4 stroke 11/18/2015 10:21 AM

Yep, I find that on my yz250 I'm more of a point and shoot type whereas my buddies on 4 strokes probably have a smoother approach. I find it hard to stay in a long, smooth rut with the way the power comes on.

Do you really expect him to get to every question? Sure would be nice for RC if people would refrain from multi paragraph, multi question posts. Ask a single question and take turns like you learned in elementary school...greedy bastards

With my front device locked on a rutted dirt start I can touch perfectly, but on a concrete start I'm still SOL. I need one of these strictly so I can say good riddance too starting blocks!

Do you fully understand what changing sprocket sizes does? Only YOU can determine what the best sprocket size is for your riding style and conditions.

Got to test out my 7oz today. It was perfect, just barely took the edge off like I was looking for. I can see a bigger one being nice for hard pack and slick conditions but I think this one suits me perfect. Let us know how that 11oz works!

Gotchya. I maybe should of went with a 9oz but having never ridden with one I didn't want it to be too different and hate it. Let us know how that 11 treats ya!

Even better that you were both on 2 strokes! Buddy and I were battling it out one moto a few years back. We were so determined we blew right through the checkers and had a lap to ourselves, it was great lol.

Curious as well. Just picked up a 7oz for my '14 yz250. Hopefully it's a nice happy medium, I don't want to take away too much snap.
