I think the bed length is about 10.5' so it'd be a tight fit!

Nice, jealous of the color! What kind of rear step is that? I need one!

I plan to use my Honda EU2000i generator to power the pressure washer. Not worth the battery bank and inverter required to try to run it that way, like you said just too much draw. I have a cutting edge power solar generator on the way to use with 1 ... more »

Motosport: https://www.motosport.com/motosport-clamping-wheel-chock Thanks! Excited to see how it turns out!

No, but I will try to get some this weekend. I staggered the chocks and left plenty of space behind the wheels for gas jugs, stands, etc.

I've been drooling over everyone elses van builds for years and finally got started on my dream van so figured I'd post a thread to update as I progress! Picked up this 2020 Mercedes 144 high roof diesel Sprinter about a month and a half ago. Ironically,

No problem! Be sure to post up your method and how they turn out! I'm still working on my craft. I think this was my 6th rib cook with this smoker and the first one I've truly been happy with.

Nice! My buddy got one for his Traeger and loves it as well! The Rec Teq app has treated me well so far. I believe it can do most stuff the FireBoard can minus a few probes.

195. I'm not sure using a probe is the best method, seems hard to get consistent temps because of how thin the racks are compared to a butt for example. From what I've found, the 3-2-1 method is garbage. 2 hours is way too long to be wrapped. I couldn't ... more »

Made some applewood smoked ribs a few weeks ago. My best yet!

Can you provide some details on that bed setup? I have the same van and shooting for something like that!

Did you just screw those into the wood floor or bolt all the way through the metal floor? I'm adding insulation and other 1/2" of plywood underneath. Stock floor is pretty thin and didn't seem like I'd get enough bite to screw shit into.

I can't stop thinking about ideas! Picked up some wood and insulation for the floor so that's my first step once the rain stops! Have a water tank, pressure washer, fittings, etc on the way for an on board pressure washing setup. Next is figuring out

Picking a 144 diesel up tomorrow or Tuesday! Got it for $2100 under MSRP so I'm pretty happy with that!

Added reply in a thread Roll Call: Mercedes Sprinter Owners! 9/11/2020 7:46 AM

What's every ones experience with negotiating dealer pricing? How far are they willing to budge from the MSRP?

Insightful article. Seems that gentleman picked the wrong type of van for an expediting service. Luckily, most, if not all of my drives will be an hr or more and very little around town. Plenty of options for DPF deletes and tuning out there as well. ... more »

I've already done a ton of research and my brain is bursting with ideas of what I want to do. Dreading adding up how much it will all cost.

I wish I could say I planned on going all out like you! Don't have a true budget yet but I know I'll get carried away lol. Adventure wagons has some cool shit but damn it's expensive. We'll see what I feel like dealing with and what I don't. My E-350 ... more »

I've taken the transits into consideration but I've been drooling over sprinters for months now. Transit cost is too close to the sprinter for me to justify going that route. Appreciate the input!
