Learn How to Fall on a Motocross Bike

Realmotocross.com

Learning to ride a dirt bike is a whole lot easier; there are even motocross schools and academy. But learning how to fall on a motocross bike is a different story as it could help save you from serious injuries.

Steps

1. You must be able to identify what kind of fall you are going to experience.

2. Falling while doing a power slide - Keep both your feet on the pegs until you are about to fall over, that's the only time you can spread one leg, the one that's under the bike, out and away

3. When wheeling, do not try to hit the brakes let the dirt bike down. This can cause the bike to jerk and make you fall. If you pull in the clutch immediately before your bike starts to fall toward you, the bike will come to the ground. It's jarring, but not as much as jumping.

4. If your wheelie goes too high - never jump off! This can be fatal. Let go of your accelerator and press your brakes.

5. As soon as you feel yourself falling, let your body relax and roll as you hit the ground. This stops you from injuring one part of your body by landing directly on it
