Both riders are bad ass. I was just commenting on the now deleted post saying that Wharton isn't racing, and can't hang with the pace.

You hope who isn't serious? Blake has been on the podium 5 times this year. He won a race. He's sitting 3rd in points. That seems like a guy who can "run the pace" from where I'm sitting. Rubbin' is racin'. Bowers, with his Arenacross background, knows ... more »

Ummm for a guy "not racing" Blake sure has been on the podium quite a bit. Quite a bit more than Bowers, as I recall.

Thanks for the info, guys. Looking forward to checking out some new tracks! Looks like I'll end up settling in the Edwardsville area, but not sure yet.

In the near future, I'll be moving from SoCal (land of 7 day a week riding) to the greater St. Louis area. Are there any local websites/message boards that I could go to to find out about places to ride and race?

I've been to Yamaha's factory in Japan and watched them assemble YZ 400Fs. The last thing they do before packaging the bikes to ship them to the US is to put them on the dyno and run them wide open through all the gears. They then suck any remaining ... more »

Garth not only has skills behind the lens, but as anyone that raced MX in Socal in the 90's can attest to, he's got serious skills on a dirt bike, too!

As much as this sucks for motocross fans, think how bad this will be for sports like flattrack, desert racing, speedway, and even GNCC. This is really the only magazine that covers these sports.

Growing up in Canyon Lake in the 90's sure was cool. All those guys were just a few years older than me and my heros! I did everything I could to tag along whenever I could. That video brings back alot of great memories!

I race REM all the time, and Jones isn't a cherrypicker at all. I seriously doubt he could even run top 5 in the B class at Loretta's. Moss either (A) had some big problems, or

FC. I've had both and FC is much better, plus, at least in my area, they go to the track and will help you get your stuff set up.

Added reply in a thread Bike Prices To Increase? 5/28/2010 2:18 PM

The problem is in the dollar vs. yen. Ten years ago 120 yen=1 dollar. Today 90 yen=1 dollar. Until the ratio is back to 100 to 1, you can expect bike prices to continue to creep up. Don't worry, though, Japan's debt load is probably worse than the US, ... more »
