New thread Chain tension question 9/20/2018 6:31 PM

Hey guys, this occurred to me recently and I don’t know if I’ve been doing this wrong for years. As usual, the chain tightens up quite a bit after you tighten down that axle bolt, I’ve been measuring my chain slack after everything is said and tight, ... more »

All I need is the new style fork guard and I can run that line right?

Reply to Cable routing help 9/18/2018 10:05 AM

I’ll try that again but the groove doesn’t hold the cable in, it’s very loose sitting in that.

You basically flip the carb upside down, and measure how far the float is protruding from the body of the carb. I'll post a picture of the one I have in my YZ manual, the height may be different for the RM because I don't know what carb it is. Grab a ... more »

New thread 2003 YZ125 part out 5/31/2018 7:38 PM

Got lots of parts for sale after stripping down a 2003 YZ125. Renthal fat bars are the only aftermarket item on it. Motor is sold, still have the frame and everything else. Let me know if you need anything, we will negotiate prices for all items.

I’ve got the spec bolt kit, just ended up going through all of the plastic bolts because it didn’t have a full set and I didn’t want to buy an entire new kit just for those bolts. Didn’t know they made flange bolt specific kits

You are the man, I appreciate the help dude

Yes, I’m capable of going on a site and looking up part numbers. Multiply those $5-7 a bolt by 20 and you might realize that $15 for an entire kit is much cheaper than $100 buying each OEM bolt separately.
