I finished the 93 CR250 tonight. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I tried to make it look like Mcgrath's rookie year 93 bike. [LINK TO IMAGE][LINK TO IMAGE][LINK TO IMAGE][LINK TO IMAGE][LINK TO IMAGE] After I bought it, I put stiffer ... more »

BD: Good deal I'm glad we made that work. I appreciate you hooking me up with the ignition cover! Moto_123: Yeah, I'm running out of stands! I just bought an 87 CR250 for my next project so I'm needing to get a couple more stands. I'll have to wait until ... more »

Made some progress on the 93 Project. Yes, that is just a tube mounted on the rear wheel. Gotta get a new Dunlop on the back to match the front. I cleaned up the swingarm and greased up the linkage bearings. I hope to have it together and running this ... more »

moto_123: There are rubber mounted pivot type connections that you are missing from those two locations from what I see in your pics. You can get them without a problem from Honda. The pipe looks correct for that bike. I really want a perfect stocker ... more »

I checked out your bike. Looks really good. Are you going to use that stock pipe? If not I need one that doesn't have any dents or damage maybe I can work a deal with you or someone else out there who has one for a 92-96 CR250.

moto-123: the part that is worn out is the aluminum not the steel insert. Unfortunately you have to buy the whole kickstart lever from Honda. I have one that is worn out as well that I replaced. CR's had 18" rear wheels until 1995. I have a front and ... more »

Just got home from a trip to find a factory Honda ignition cover on my doorstep-exactly what I was looking for! Pretty much the last thing I needed for my CR. Thanks Bart! Your part is in transit. I'll email the tracking number to you right now.

I'm just gonna turn this one and try to make a couple bucks so I'm painting the frame, re-zinc plating the hardware, putting a 19" rear wheel on it, etc. I got it pretty cheap so I couldn't pass it up. It is a really low time bike and will be a perfect ... more »
