Added reply in a thread CRF250R VS CRF450R REAR Wheels swap 1.85 vs 2.15 6/30/2020 7:14 AM

You can use pre 2013 rear wheel on 2013+ bike with a spacer, but not the other way around. The spacer and offset sprocket move the chain away from the tire.To use 2013+ wheel on an older bike would need the hub shaved down.

Nope. YZ Crf, probably all of them are that way. Right side lug is smooth inside and the axle will slip right through. The axle pulls against the wheel spacer, then bearing race, then another spacer to the other bearing race, then the other wheel spacer ... more »

You should tighten the right side last as the left side can't conform. The axle clamps against the left lug so when you tighten the nut, there is no play. The right side has a smooth bore and the axle is smooth there also. When you compress the suspension ... more »

I have the old lock n loads and the only plastic is the knobs. Nothing to break on them. And it takes 4 holes to mount them. There is pressure on the suspension both front and back and that is what holds the bike from moving, but nothing that's going ... more »

There's pins around the front wheel to keep it from rolling. I don't have anything against bike binders, just stating that I believe the risk ones will hold it it better due to the rigid design. I would think you would have to load the suspension pretty ... more »

I haven't but I can see the bikes could roll forward and back a little as the suspension compresses slightly. That would be fine in a truck with the front wheel against the front, but I don't want it moving forward or back in the van as stuff gets packed ... more »

I have them side by side in my van. They use 4 wing bolts to remove each one from the base. I made my own base so they would bolt to the seat rails in the floor. It uses 6 of the wing bolts and 2 of the seat pins.

Added reply in a thread Risk Racing Lock N Load 6/3/2019 7:34 AM

The new lock n load pro slides off the track and just leaves a plate on the floor if you need the space for something else. The biggest advantage compared to Bikebinderz or moto clix is having a solid arms that hold the bike from moving forward or backward

TJ is selling 3m tape. It says it on the backing paper. I bought a set when I bought graphics and it lasted about 15 hours. 3M safety walk 370 gray is the name to buy it in bulk and cut your own. Also bought some clear rubberized tape to put on airbox ... more »

This a chevy express extended passenger van. I made a bracket to hold the lock n loads because the rails for the passenger seats are in the way. In a cargo van, you should be able to bolt down the included brackets and easily install and remove ... more »

All plastics are the same except for the shrouds. Bolts in different spots for the bigger plastic gas tank. Acerbis has them.

I have 2 in my van and I love them. Bikes don't move and don't have to climb over the front to get straps to the handlebars when putting in second bike.
