My brother and I are saving up for a trip down south this winter. Which one is the cheapest and/or the best experience? Thanks.

Thank you for the info. Usually once it hits November, we have to resort to sand pits and I don't really wont to put my new 250f in the sand. I am looking for a practice bike, just not sure what though.

I wish I could. I hate every bit of winter.

This is a great idea! Just what I was looking for!

I came home from work and 30 minutes later my parents pulled in the driveway with a new YZ250f in the back. Riding up here is about to come to an end, so I won't be riding until the spring. It is still in the crate so I was wondering if it's okay to

My dad has used Yamalube in all my bikes. Never had an issue with it and the engines last for ever.

ODI Lock-On grips work really well. You just put them on and tighten a bolt. Ive used them for years and they have never moved on me. They last long to. Even longer if you use their bar ends with it.

This! I have low blood flow in my hands so they cramp up and hurt after riding. The ice helps a lot. To solve the problem, I would try and grip more with your knees. If that is not the case, try switching grips/handlebars.

Yes I have seen them, but thank you. We always keep the tuner with us so we can change it depending on what track we are going to or what the conditions are.

Added reply in a thread G2 Throttle Tube 8/11/2015 6:43 AM

I believe the tuner is 200$, but you can ask around the track and someone might let you use theirs and even teach you how to use it. It is really simple to use and takes only a couple minutes to put a tune in. As for the suspension, I'm not sure. What ... more »

I have a 14' YZ 450f and one of the first things I did was change the sprocket size down to a 47 tooth. I also changed the map in my bike with the GYTR tuner. I would suggest doing both of these things. It made a really big difference.

On hot days, I soak my Under Armour with cold water 15 minutes or so before my moto. It works very well. I also keep my helmet in a cooler and have my dad pore water down my back as the 30 second card comes up.

The GYTR tuner is an amazing little tool. I have a 14 yz450f and use the tuner a lot. If I change the type of race gas for a day, I can have a new tune in it a 1 minute later. If i change something on the bike like sprocket size or buy a new exhaust ... more »

My fork tube height is 4mm. My sag is whatever Factory Connection set it at, so I'm not sure. I have noticed the bike sits in ruts very well but is a little awkward hitting berms fast. Could be the bike, or it could be me. Let me know what you end up ... more »

The new Yamahas are amazing. I'm a little bias as I've ridden Yamahas my whole life but I truly believe they are the best bike. Bullet proof engine as well. The last 250f I had was 150+ hours with 1 rebuild.

I would defiantly try the bike out before you order anything. I've had my 2014 yz450f for two years now and it's the best bike I've ever ridden.

What Superdave19 said. There should be no stop and go in a corner. Keeping momentum all throughout the corner is key. Also make sure to not enter the corner to sharp, but instead come in from the middle or outside of the track.
