I bought the bike to swap out some parts onto another 04 and then sell it, but it blew up less than a lap into the first ride. After seeing the damage in the motor, I knew I was in for the long haul. I had Eric Gorr work his magic on the cylinder and a new head I purchased (134 kit), I bought two new OEM cases, and put all new OEM clutch components in it. I have an Eastwood hobbyist powdercoat system at home, so I decided to powdercoat the motor while I had it apart. I also recently learned to spray cerakote, so I did the master cylinders, calipers, hubs, and shock body. Also, I sprayed some hi-temp clear cerakote on the BUD steel pipe after heating up the welds. I then had Factory Connection rebuild the suspension and put a stiffer rear spring on to compliment the 05 CRF450 forks up front. Other things include having the frame powdercoated white to go with the TJ graphics, installing a lectron carb, and using an 07 CR125 airboot.

With any luck, maybe she'll be on the gate for the 125 All-Star race at Southwick! IF we have a Southwick national this year... (fingers crossed)
