The plus on having Cones is that you have something you can sell when you trade your bike with the stock forks back on it. Unless you remove the KYB inserts which requires removing the lug, it goes with the bike.

Our local station sells Renegade 110 for $7.29 a gallon. I usually use one gallon of 110 to 2 gallons of 91 non-ethanol in my YZ450F. I go 50/50 on my vintage Tom Morgan ported 2-stroke Elsinore 250 with good results.

I hate when they weigh them with full gastanks. It should be all fluids and an empty tank like the AMA weighs them. Or put the same amount of gas in each one at least. It seems funny to me when people worry about how many grams difference in innertubes, ... more »

I was an AMA ref at one point. We had to attend risk management training to go over policies that would help you win in a lawsuit. At that time I was told that no AMA track has lost a lawsuit that followed the rulebook and guidelines the AMA implemented. ... more »

Go over the top of your trusses in the attic (if it built that way) with a 4X4 across the trusses. Then bolt an eye bolt through the drywall in the 4X4 overhead. Then uses small cable or tiedowns to hold bike.
