Currently...bottom end of my motor is at the shop I work at...top end/rolling chassis at my personal shop...plastics and seat are at home. The bolts are at least organized as to where they came out of though!

Define bunging. Plugging? If so then yeah I mean so long as you get it sealed, you can just remove the cable altogether as long you can do without

85-90mm on a tight arenacross type track, 120mm on a fast loamy track. So somewhere between 80-130 you ought to be safe

I've been setting up a couple new kxf's, haven't gotten to really test with any yet though. Anyone notice that they tend to lose a little puff of air when they take the pump off the balance chamber? Never happens on the top valves, so I'm wondering if ... more »

I've installed a few for customers, they aren't that bad if you follow the instructions, as mentioned above. They're definitely different, so the first few are a struggle, but after that no problem. Drilling into the rim is the most nerve wracking part! ... more »

Added reply in a thread Question for YZ250 ... which oversize ft rotor? 7/18/2016 6:37 PM

The pre '07... or '08? YZ/YZF one is better than the newer ones too

Added reply in a thread Question for YZ250 ... which oversize ft rotor? 7/18/2016 4:48 PM

Yeah, well a 2014 yzf250f and 2009...ish yz250, I kinda Frankensteined a couple different bikes together for that one. Ran the same setup on both though, ran the braking pads, stock, and ebc; didn't really notice a huge difference

Added reply in a thread Question for YZ250 ... which oversize ft rotor? 7/15/2016 3:06 PM

I run the braking non floating 270mm one with a stock line and the caliper drilled out for a little more air flow, love it. Nice feel, no heat fade, all the braking power you need with one finger

Added reply in a thread Dunlop MX31, MX32, M3S garbage! 7/2/2016 6:15 AM

I've had pretty good luck with the 32's. They hook up pretty well everywhere, and the only time I've really chunked knobs was riding with an already sort of old one on a blue groove hard pack track. Ran pirellis for years until I got a few in a row that ... more »

It's important to me because I am a Yamaha guy, and also a huge motorcycle nerd, so I am indeed very curious to know what happened. Also yeah championship blah blah blah what he said, as well!

We have a winner. Most likely a ring/valve seal configuration that they designed to be right on the edge as is for less friction. Not like they expect a ton of time on these motors before replacement. Cracked piston would make sense too, but if they ... more »

Just now watching the race so I'm not sure yet, but I can't see why it would be smoking if it was vapor locked like people were saying. Unless it really locked up and popped a head gasket? But I mean if that was the case I don't see it starting back ... more »

Anyone know if getting a jgr leftover is still doable? I've been toying with getting rid of my 250f and getting a 450 for a while, if I could snap one of these up I think I might have to pull the trigger

Lost it at the welds on the Swingarm. They're kinda ugly to be honest, but just thinking of all the testing and freedom to make whatever they want...went from 6 to midnight real quick
