If I understand this correctly (please correct me if I'm wrong), the pro race was started before everyone in the 50+ 125 race was off the track. And per the injured guy's gofundme, sounds like this was his first race! So there were clearly beginners ... more »

Seriously dude. That's definitely a fake ad or those are stolen.

Eli won't be able to handle Ferrandis being the center of attention. And Ferrandis won't give two shits about Eli. I know who my money is on.

I agree. They don't make much sense to me and I think starts would be more interesting (and take more skill) without them. They remind of something like flip levers for freestyle riders, where they only activate and use them for one single purpose. I ... more »

Two divisions. Ride whatever you want in either division. Promotion and relegation determines riders for each division.

Agreed. Nothing personal against her, she seems like a nice person and tries hard, but her segments are pointless and her voice is just difficult to listen to. That position just needs to be cut, they don't need to replace her.

Sorry, could not help myself. Just so so glad that dude is gone. Trying to laugh off the trauma his brief stint caused.

See my post about a promotion and relegation system. Solves all these problems.

New thread Now that the broadcast seems to finally be on the right track..... 4/24/2021 8:19 PM

What is next to improve supercross? I am not sure if this has been suggested before, but I think it is the ideal solution to the 250 vs 450 career decision/eligibility issues. I am proposing a promotion and relegation system, such as you see in English ... more »

New thread Somebody heard, somebody did something, thank you! 4/24/2021 7:45 PM

Tonight was special. I watched a broadcast of the incredible sport of supercross without cringing multiple times, without using the mute button, without using fast forward, and without wanting to gouge my eyes out everytime a certain millennial lumberjack ... more »

I generally agree with this and it is how I live my life. It's just frustrating to see the sport accept mediocrity (or worse) and it's become generally hard for me to watch the broadcast. I just don't want to have to ignore almost of all of it, I would ... more »

This is just simply not true. The broadcast could be much better with the same or less amount of money. Supercross is a business and you see this type of thing all the time in the corporate world. Stagnation, cronyism, nepotism, etc. Eventually it becomes ... more »

There is good and bad broadcasting, has nothing to do with personal preference.

Getting rid of things that suck is a solution, a very easy one. In fact, most of the reason the broadcast does suck is because of trying to add a bunch of fluff crap to a sport that needs, nor wants, any of it. Motocross is the most intense, grittiest ... more »

I understand, but this is also irrelevant. Your comparing the a broadcast today, with today's technology, to one of the past. You need to be comparing Supercross to other current sports broadcast, with the same technology, but produced and directed much ... more »

I made several suggestions. Your comments are exactly why I hate social media and probably never registered before here. I'll probably be gone soon.

Just can't wait for Butledge's next segment where he explains what helmets are and why riders wear them.

So much deflection around here.

Reply to Supercross Broadcast - It's gone too far 3/19/2021 12:25 PM

It is that bad. How do we know? We simply compare it to the motocross or MXGP broadcasts, infinitely better. Why does Supercross have to be so much worse?

This is just so far gone from what is actually happening here. I have not mentioned perfection once and this has absolutely nothing to do with me. Let me ask you directly, is the broadcast shit? Can you defend it? If so, please do.
