I had an 86 kx125. Terrible bike, just terrible. They turned it around in 88 though. That was a good bike!

Masterpool only one to jump laroccos leap so far. He's done it every lap

Shout out to Michigan racer Jerry Lorrenz. Qualified 28th of 86. Hopefully Jeff walker can make through the consolation race

He jumped it on all his hot laps

Yeah I was pretty surprised to see him do another lap. Had to be hurting. Good for him though. I wouldn't have wanted to head to the pits with that crash on my mind

Sexton just cased the leap really bad. Right into the face, bounced over the bars and got up limping. But went around last lap and cleared it. Lots of the 450's are landing on top. Think it's the headwind

I had a kx125 then yz144 then yz250f. The first time I did this double out of the corner at a local track I rode a lot on the 250f I was laughing in my helmet thinking damn this is like cheating. It's a huge difference

I had a 2019 kx250f. The fork is definitely harsh. I'm sure it could be fixed with a revalve. Other than that I thought it was a great bike. Somewhat of a compact fit but I'm 5'11 175 and it was fine. Good low to mid power. Handled great! I'd happily ... more »

You can get by with a cheap bike (sub $800 or so) for the type of riding you listed. But keep in mind if you get more serious into riding you're going to want to step up to something in the $1200+ range for the component/fork quality. And by serious ... more »

Reply to Who invented skimming through the whoops? 3/4/2020 8:19 AM

Skimming the whoops was a big deal in the late 80's/early 90's with rj, Stanton, bayle, etc. I remember the announcers talking about it regularly. May have been earlier, that's just when I started watching

Reply to Mookie back in SX, how does he go? 9/19/2019 4:42 PM

I can't remember, was he healthy coming into last season? Training? At Anaheim 2 he got 8th in the second main but his best lap time was slower than barcia, Wilson, peick, Brayton, Webb, Baggett, etc. Would love to see him get some top 5's though.

I feel like there is a good connection feel with the ground. I agree about the back tire sliding. It's so easy to powerslide every corner. But you don't have to. More front brake less rear brake and slow down more and you can track the corner and ruts ... more »

Game is awesome once you upgrade your bike. However I gave up (too early) on advanced physics. I'm content with standard physics, manual rider, and both brakes. What's the consensus on suspension setups? I remember one of the top guys saying on mxgp ... more »

The 20 people you know can't race B, college, 30+ or 45+? As has been discussed, former pros can only race two classes. I just don't get the problem. Do we really want former pros 40+ years of age lining up in pro sport with teens? What if RJ, Ward, ... more »

Cheap hitch carrier from harbor freight is all I've used for years. Never had any issues. I did buy a better stabilizer to stop it from rocking on Amazon.

Watching that gameplay...wouldn't it be relatively easy for the programmers to at least make the bike bounce around a bit when crossing over ruts?
