parts arent that difficult to find, things such as cranks/pistons, theres a few aftermarket options for. if you were to condider an 80's honda theres a few independant companies that make nice bits for them. denton engineering seem to have a fairly good ... more »

some of the best looking mx bikes of all time are from the 80's. hondas from circa 85 onwards, most rm;s and a few yz's. kx's were hit n miss but the maico's were nice looking things aswell. aircooled hondas ?

any bike that has spoke skins, all the perfectly good enough levers/hose retainers ect replaced for no reason with chinese crap such as apico ect. if its to replace a damaged part then fair enough, if its to bling it up then its naff. id rather buy a ... more »

maybe they need adjusting. im not sure of how to do iy on the 125 but im sure its a well trodden path and a google search should come up with a set up guide.

thanks, i have also copied the 87 case by removing the step and enabling the ''cup to still be used. i bought a bung earlier, drilled/tapped to m6 so i can adjust the preload using a different length m6 bolt. at the minute its just capped off with a ... more »

thanks mate, think ive sussed it out now. id like to know the differences between the cylinder from 86-91 now. im pretty sure the stup mounting holes are thicker on later models, small porting tweaks and the hpp set up.
