Reply to 17 KTM 450 shock spring ??? 3/12/2019 7:50 PM

What length is your new spring? 200mm is too short. If you stick with the stock linkage you need to go to a 48-247 or the 48-260 from the 2018 and newer bikes will actually work too and put your collar in a higher position on the body. This has the added ... more »

Reply to Glen Helen MXoN 10/6/2018 2:41 PM

Glen Helen is a huge part of Southern California and America’s Motocross history. Unfortunately the people who run it have put in the minimum effort and taken the maximum advantage of this fact for decades. Other than the actual track, there’s nothing ... more »

A guy builds a 2wd, hybrid electric dirt bike. Vitards reply by complaining that it’s a two generation old Chinese knock-off that needs a chain guard. FFS, I hope there’s not a scratch in the swingarm! SMH

Maybe they can use a Two Stroke generator to charge the bike. HaHa!

Did mine 8 years ago, including spiral fractures of the tib-fib, my plate goes all the way to my ankle and 13 screws. I found a stationary bike worked really well to get improvements in my range of motion. My goal was to lower the seat one position every ... more »

Reply to Why spoked wheels in MX? 5/1/2018 4:57 PM

Most people don't realize that, unlike a mag, spoked wheels get most of their strength from the hub hanging below the top half of the rim. This allows the spokes below the hub to "give" a bit on hard landings and absorb some of the impact. If you were ... more »

Andy. In this context it means Internal Combustion Engine. Some people prefer IC. What's your point? If you were thinking of the government agency with the same acronym, maybe you would be more comfortable in the Non-moto section.

Someone should start a ten page thread about how butthurt they are that ICE bikes aren't going to be allowed to compete and the endless conspiracy theories about who benefits from it. Oh....wait.....

Umm? Yeah? If you read through the thread there's a crap ton of people claiming some nefarious motive behind this decision. Mostly centered around the idea that DCSports is $omehow being influenced by other manufacturers in choosing this direction, because ... more »

The valving is different between models. I recommend getting the correct set for the displacement of your bike. If you have to fudge it, don't put 125/150SX, 250SX or Any XC fork on it they will be too soft.
