I think they were (are) both smooth as silk on a motocross bike. I would take either one's talent!

This looks pretty smooth to me, especially considering he is riding a 500cc two stroke. It's hard to be smooth on a bike with so much power. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RizD8DeaG8g

I've got to agree with you there.

Depending on the type of riding we are talking about, I can't see leaving Malcolm Smith off of a list talking about "smooth" riders.

No, us here 'hicks' in Arkansas don't understand the fancy talk you speak down in Texas. I guess that is why I was so lost by your comments.

I thought part of racing was staying on two wheels. Is it Reed's fault that Stewart fell? I thought if you finished in front of another racer that meant you beat him. Maybe it means something different in Texas.

Reply to Wear #1 with pride 2/28/2009 7:35 PM

My belief is that the reason Stewart ran Reed down was because he was riding over his head. When he does that he is extremely fast, but it normally leads to a crash. That is why he has always been prone to crash when he comes under pressure from another ... more »

I have to believe that this guy is just trying to start a fight tonight.

The rumor I'm hearing is that Cannondale is getting back in the motorcycle business and they are bringing Dungey in to be their "ONE" factory rider.

Rather be from Arkansas any day of the week than from Texas.

I spent 14 months in Australia and I don't have any complaints about the Aussies.

Reply to Stewart just bit it hard 1/17/2009 2:11 PM

Could be the pressure of knowing that for the first time in awhile there is someone that can run his pace. James hasn't had to deal with that since Ricky left.

Reply to Fast lap for Dungey 1/17/2009 1:44 PM

1.2 seconds is a fairly large gap if you ask me. Dungey seems to have the speed today. It should be a good race tonight.

Anyone who thinks that Stewart is holding back isn't watching the racing. Stewart was giving it everything he had at A1 and in PHX last night. Why can't everyone just realize that the two guys are really close this year speed wise and it is going to ... more »
